A Day at Davidoff

Fun story:  Last night, after months of relieving the Davidoff store of empty cigar boxes, I left my latest guitar, created from a Davidoff Anniversario #3 box, at the establishment.  This afternoon I returned to the store only to see it proudly displayed right above the register and directly to the right of the company logo.  As I entered the store, a gentleman who was about to light up a stogie was reminiscing about growing up in Philly, when his dad used to build cigar box guitars using broom handles and fishing line for necks and strings.  He said that he and his brothers used to beat each other up with the instruments rather than play them but the one now on display reminded him of some of his few fond childhood memories.  One of the gents working at the store offered me a cigar and led me to the smoking lounge as several other fellows began to converse about the strange instrument on the wall.  It was a pretty cool day.
